Blog Post One

So, this is my first blog post on my brand new site. I can almost smell that new-site aroma. Very silicone-y. I’m not sure how many people will actually visit this site, but even with my dread of social interaction, I hope it’s a few more than the crickets I can hear chirping away already.

I’m actually starting this site as my first serious step into the land of finding a literary agent. That sounds like a deadly quest if ever I heard one. I’m hoping this site will let me start out on the right foot, though. Most agents seem to want only 3 jpegs attached to any query (ewww query, I’ve discovered that can be quite the foul word when used wrong) and I seem to be able to sneeze 3 images of sizes far larger than any email browser approves on any day with moderate pollen. A link to this site is my way around that.

I am not however, in all my different capacities as a graphic designer, a website developer. Nope. This was a challenge.

In upcoming blog posts I hope to chronicle my thoughts on calligraphy, illustration, writing, attempting to get a literary agent and the random in-between hobbies that keep me from ever getting those precious 8 hours of sleep a night.
