Goblins with a vendetta against art, a PR agency for super villains, a cosplayer with a positively gloomy imagination. I wouldn’t necessarily call my stories or drawings modern fairy tales. They’re more – impish inkings.

Writings

I enjoy fantasy, fairy tales and horribly bad puns that stick in my head for a year and a half. I like characters that know the tropes they were destined for and then blow raspberries at fate, circumstance and the author trying to sort them out at 3 AM.

These are the stories that I wrote that, at some point, made me smile, and I hope they do the same for any visitor here.

Ilustrations

I studied American calligraphy hoping to become a Master. What happened instead changed how I draw, how I write and how I view something as simple as an inky line on a page. And it might have inspired me to sneak letters where they simply never had any business.

About Me

I’m Lisa. By day, I’m a graphic designer - have been for twenty years – but by night I indulge in all the loopy letters and lifework that I adore. And that’s what you can find here.

“I don’t know that I have a style in writing or in drawing, but I know that everything comes down to lines. If I can get the lines right, everything else will eventually fall into place.

In the meantime, that’s what practice is for.”
